Almost Heaven!  Located on the shore of the third largest alpine lake in the world, Lake Tahoe, Heavenly is Heaven.    The Lake Tahoe area is blessed with more than 360 inches of light, dry snow a year and each resort offers you a different terrain.  Whether you’re a boarder, first time skier, intermediate, mogul hound or tree skier, Tahoe has a mountain to fit your needs.  The Lake Tahoe Mountain(s) are home to 9 ski and snowboard areas.  The more well know include Heavenly, Squaw Valley, Kirkwood, North Star and Alpine Meadows, which can be skied on one interchangeable lift ticket.  Heavenly offers 4,800 acres with 82 runs consisting of 20% beginner, 45% intermediate and 35% advanced/expert.

We will be staying at The Embassy Suites located at the base of Heavenly Ski Resort's new gondola and next door to world-class gaming and entertainment. After a day of playing in the Lake Tahoe Mountains or lake, you can relax in your beautiful suite, enjoy the Nightly Manager's reception, dine in the American Cuisine restaurant, enjoy one of the three garden atriums, play in the large heated pool, soak in the whirlpool, visit the fitness center, or enjoy the many other Lake Tahoe resort amenities.  All rooms have a mini refrigerator.  Best of all, you can start your day with a complimentary full American breakfast made to order.
