Sun Valley - Feb 2019 - Sold Out!

Sun Valley, Idaho

Sun Valley Resort offers a wide range of things to do from Winter downhill skiing, snowboarding, nordic skiing, snowshoeing and sleigh rides. Not to mention year-round shopping, dining, ice skating, entertainment and more. We're so much more than just a ski resort!

This Sun Valley, Idaho trip offers a mountain often referred to as one of the better ski mountains in the world and that’s known for barely any lift lines, as well as deluxe lodging in the Sun Valley Lodge Apartment  Condominiums, and flights right into Sun Valley.

“Baldy” is Sun Valley’s big-time mountain. Boasting perfect-pitch vertical from peak to base, Bald Mountain has no flats, no plateaus and nothing but downhill.  With its abundance of constant-pitch terrain, at varying degrees of difficulty, coupled with its substantial vertical drop and absence of wind, Baldy is a skier’s dream come true.  And with the barely-there lift lines, there’s plenty of time to make as many turns as your legs will allow, usually under a sun that shines for 80 percent of the year. With 100 runs ranging from expert to beginner, groomers to slalom challenges, and bowls, Baldy is a mountain for people who like to go downhill, no matter how fast or what they strap to their feet.

Dollar Mountain is the place to learn how to ski. The home of the world’s very first chairlift, it now has 76 trails, along with beginner-friendly slopes, five lifts and 628 feet of vertical on a treeless, sun-kissed face. Every snow lover, no matter their skill level, will find something on this mountain that will put a grin on their face and some fresh tracks behind them in the snow.

We’ll be staying right next to the Sun Valley Lodge, at the Sun Valley Deluxe Lodge Apartment Condominiums, which will give you all the privacy and comfort of an apartment while letting you enjoy the benefits of being so close to everything happening at the Lodge.  Take a dip in the enormous hot tub, catch an ice show, or roll some balls down the lanes at the Lodge's own bowling alley.

It’s pretty laid back at Sun Valley – it’s Idaho, after all.  Expect a low-key atmosphere with the highest standards of service and comfort.  Off-mountain activities include skating at the Olympic rink, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, a lively and tradition-rich apres-ski scene, and world-class dining and shopping.

Come to Sun Valley and enjoy a near perfect mountain, deluxe lodging and a great town!
