Breckenridge has the perfect ski mountain and the perfect mountain town!
Breck’s five interconnected peaks offer amazing variety for every skill level. Peak 10 offers steep runs and challenging moguls. Peak 9 is best for beginners. Situated in the heart of the resort Peak 8 is packed with trails for all levels. Intermediate skiers will feel at home on Peak 7’s blue runs, while those seeking an above-treeline experience will get their thrills on Peak 6.
The town of Breckenridge has a rich mining history and a friendly local vibe that will make you want to move there. You’ll take a step back in time as you wander along Main Street, past the authentic buildings that have stood for over 100 years. Then take some time to explore the many shops and restaurants that make up Breckenridge’s vibrant nightlife.
We’re staying at the Mountain Thunder Lodge, a luxurious and elegant condominium and townhome retreat, ideally located in a quiet forest in Breckenridge. The Lodge and townhomes are ski-in /gondola-out and walking distance to Main Street. Featuring a distinctive stone-and-timber design and superb amenities – including state of the art exercise facilities, outdoor pool and hot tubs, ski lockers, and wireless internet access – Mountain Thunder Lodge seamlessly combines seclusion, accessibility and casual mountain ambiance.
