Revelstoke, Canada - Friday March 5th - 13th, 2027

Revelstoke, Canada (8 Nights, Fri-Sat) - FULL/WAITLISTED.

Steamboat still has available spots and Trip Coordinator Matthew recommends Steamboat mountain as a great alternative destination!

Come join us to Revelstoke, Canada for a location that is known for its world-class skiing. Boasting North America's longest vertical drop (5,620 feet) and over 400 inches of annual snowfall. Surrounded by the Selkirk and Monashee mountains, it is also the gateway to Mount Revelstoke National Park.  Aside from the massive in-bounds terrain at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, the town is a legendary mecca for backcountry, cat-skiing, and heli-skiing. It has deep historical roots in ski jumping, having hosted international competitions and setting multiple world records in the early 1900s.

Due to Revelstoke’s unique location and to make our travel days less stressful and tiring this is a Friday-Saturday trip! We will fly into Calgary Friday and stay overnight in Calgary before waking up refreshed and making the shuttle ride to Revelstoke on Saturday.

Common Revelstoke Questions Q&A

I am a (Green/Blue/Black) skier and will this mountain be for me?

Revelstoke has skiing for all levels (The main Green run is the longest ski run in North America at 9.5 miles long!), but people that are intermediate or above will feel more at home on the overall mountain as green level trails make up a smaller percentage of their trails (12%) then some major resorts. I would compare the skiing experience to Jackson Hole or Sun Valley if you have any experience on those mountains.

What opportunities are there beyond the normal resort for the average level skier to get to experience World Class Cat or Heli Skiing that this region is known for?

On top of the World Class Resort Trails, Revelstoke has opportunities for almost everyone to do more then just resort skiing. With everything from “Into to Cat Skiing” lessons for anyone that can parallel ski strongly at any level, to Cat and Heli ski options for Strong Intermediate level on up, this is THE PALCE to get your grove on and experience guided out of bounds skiing! I can’t tell you the feeling of skiing on miles of intermediate level untracked powder on some nice fat power skis with not a single track or other person then your group in sight!

Revelstoke Ski Map looks smaller then some major resorts will there be plenty to Ski?

Anyone that has been there before will tell you "Don’t be fooled by the map”….. this place is big! As Revelstoke has the most vertical in North America (5,620 feet top of the highest lift to the lowest base) this makes for some insanely long runs. “The Last Spike” for example is 9.5 miles long!!!!! That single run on its own is worth 4 to 5 separate runs to get the same amount of miles at any other ski resort in North America. Revelstoke features 75 named runs and with the extra length and vertical of these runs that means you get much more time skiing and much less time riding lifts!

How far are we from the Revelstoke Hotel to the Revelstoke Mountain?

It is just 5 miles away and takes just 14 minutes on a shuttle. It is better to be in town then on the mountain, as there isn’t much in the mountain village in terms of dining and night life!

I heard that the bus ride to Revelstoke from the Airport can be a bit of an adventure!

The bus ride can be 4.5-5.5 hours but that is what makes it special. Imagine a resort that has the most vertical, world-class skiing, and one of the most snowfall in North America but without the crowds of a major city and airport nearby. That is Revelstoke! As the bus ride is longer then average we added an extra day on this trip this year. We fly into Calgary on Friday, stay overnight, and then bright and refreshed we then head to Revelstoke Saturday getting there during the day instead of very late at night like we have previous seasons/trips.

How expensive is Canada and what should I plan for money wise?

Right now Canada is fantastic to travel to financially. Every $1 USD is worth $1.4 CAD. This is fantastic for travelers like us looking to get the most out of an international destination!

Do I need a Passport to travel to Canada?

The answer is YES and I would start the process as soon as signing up if you don’t have one. You also should have 6 months left on the passport before expiring at the date of the trip. Current wait times are 4-8 weeks for normal processing of new or expired passports.
