You couldn’t ask for a better winter destination than Steamboat Springs, Colorado. What’s more, we’re flying into Hayden. And we’re staying at the Chateau Chamonix condos, which are ski-in, ski-out!
Steamboat is actually a complete mountain range: Mount Werner, Sunshine Peak, Storm Peak, Thunderhead Peak, Pioneer Ridge, and Christie Peak- 2,965 acres of permitted terrain offer a diversity of trails for all levels of ability. Gladed areas of Pioneer ridge, Sunshine and Storm Peak are Steamboat’s particular claim to fame, with legendary Champagne Powder snow in the trees for the most avid powder hounds.
The base area is located at 6900 feet and the various peaks rise as high as 10, 568 feet. There are 165 named Trails classified as 14% Beginner, 42%-Intermediate, and 44%- Advanced. The longest run, “Why Not” is over 3 miles long. The Average Annual snowfall at Steamboat Springs is 349 inches, and there are 16 lifts from which to choose and a terrain park guaranteed to keep the free rider’s occupied.
The Chateau Chamonix, slope side resort offers premier ski-in/ski-out accommodations that are the perfect base for a Steamboat ski vacation. Located in close proximity to the mountain village and Gondola, Chateau Chamonix offers convenient access to the Steamboat ski mountain, restaurants and nightlife.

**Please pay special attention to the 2022 season payment schedules. There will be an explicit enforcement of payment deadlines this year. Participants that have not paid in full by final payment deadlines will be subject to replacement and will be charged the standard $300 per person cancellation fee or the greater amount if any fees passed on to the club by the travel operators if greater than cancellation fee.
